The carnival season is here and after Jelsa, Stari Grad joins with information about this year′s carnival festivities. The Petar Hektorović Theatre organises the event, which will take place on February 9, 2016. Everyone is invited to join this fun event in any kind of costume to create the very special atmosphere this year.
Here is the program of the Stari Grad Carnival – Carnival de Paiz:
February 2, 2016 (Tuesday):
15.00 – gathering of the main parade at the square Tvrdalj (at the first bagger)
15.30 – arrival of the parade accompanied by the Stari Grad Brass Band
15.30 – TASTAMENAT
16.30 – Awards for the best masks
19.15 – “Lancuni na Murvac” – parade through the city
Hotel Helios:
21.00 – Final Costume Party
