I have seen a LOT of new businesses in Hvar tourism over the years, as they contact Total Hvar for a little promotion to get themselves quickly to the international tourism market. There have been some great businesses and some terrible ones. Some succeeded and some failed.
But so far there was nothing which quite took my breath away as this.
I have heard a lot of new business owners tell me about the quality of their product. Some of them have been right, some oh so badly wrong. But none of them like this.
An exclusive first look inside new wine bar/restaurant Artichoke, opening next week on the Jelsa waterfront (see location in the photo at the bottom). If the food is half as good as the lavish interior, this will be one of the hits of the 2015 season.
And of course, Jelsa is the town of wine, with a proud heritage. Here, finally, you will be able to sample the wines of celebrated local producers – Tomic, Dubokovic, Caric and Huljic – in a stylish waterfront environment, with wines by the glass.
