Another glorious day in late October Jelsa. Breakfast on the terrace this morning, and there was only one small problem – it really was too hot.
And down below, a much quieter Jelsa after the season has finished, but every few minutes the sound of rocks being dumped from a truck, as the reconstruction continues now that the tourists have gone.
Copacobana Jelsa, the first town beach in Jelsa, opened earlier this year, and has already proved popular, just a short walk from the main square and right at the end of the riva.
And by the time tourists come for 2017, if things go as planned, it will be considerably bigger and more attractive, and who knows, the resident digger may also have found a new home…
Jelsa on the island of Hvar, three days before the start of November. It really was too hot today, at least for this pink Englishman.
