There are certain things which define the calendar on the island of Hvar.
Easter is a time of great awakening, especially in Jelsa, and the island comes to life for a few days, showing the potential of its summer activity.
Restaurant Gariful opens in Hvar Town, the first seasonal restaurant to do so. The Gariful opening has now become part of the Hvar tradition.
And back in Jelsa, the early start of the season is always defined by the opening of popular cocktail bar, Mojito. While others try and fade (after two seasons, Candela is no more), the team from Mojito provide a great option on the waterfront on the other side of the harbour, coupled with a lively entertainment programme and innovative drinks list. here, for example, is where you can try the Il Forito, the only cocktail made from 100% Hvar ingredients.
And the Jelsa season is about to start.
Friday night, from 21:00, with live jazz from an exclusive act, and a free welcome drink for all before midnight.
