Hvar in December: A Scottish Cycling and Swimming Haven

How is the water where you are?

Whenever I start missing Hvar in the colder shoulder season months, I check the Facebook pages of my friends in Vrbanj, the Scottish Vrbanjites, a small but hardy group of Scots who have chosen to make the island their home. 

They are a very active bunch, keen to explore the island in its entirety and in love with its nature.

And they love to swim.

All year.
