Another opportunity to go to the movies over the weekend on the island – Kino Mediteran brings 2 movies: Operation Arctic & Out of Nature.
At the reception hall in Jelsa, on Thursday, March 10, 2016 there will be a special discount for Women as a part of the International Women´s Day celebration, which was this week. Tickets will be 15 kn instead of 20 kn for Women only.
18.00 Operation Arctic
Norwegian film for the whole family! Set in the wild Arctic ocean near Svalbard where the winter storms are building and the sun is about to disappear. 13 year old Julia and her twin siblings, 8 year old Ida and Sindre, have ended up on the deserted Half Moon island by a tragic mistake. No one knows where they are. They have to conquer fear and dangerous situations: Wild animals, raging weather, lack of food and how to communicate with the mainland. But they are quickly learning something all children love: How to master challenges.
20.00 Out of Nature
A journey inside Martin’s head. He’s on a weekend mountain trip, and we get to know his thoughts. Unsensored, essential, existential and silly about feelings and fantasies. A recognizable film about being human, and how we tick and think.
After Jelsa, Kino Mediteran moves to Stari Grad (Movie Theatre) on Friday, March 11, 2016 and Hvar (Loggia) on Saturday, March 12, 2016. In both cases with the Operation Arctic starting at 17.00 and the Out of Nature at 20.00.
