One big plus this year is the quality of some of the people I have met through Total Hvar. I have enjoyed getting to know so many people, and I am toying with starting a winter series called ‘People I enjoyed meeting through Total Hvar’, which would introduce some of the characters of the island. We will see.
One person who I have had many laughs with is Ante Lacman from boutique agency Hvar Tours. When he isn’t busy plying Brazilian billionaires with quality Hvar wine, or whisking West African dictators off for dinner on a remote island by helicopter, he is showing a keen eye for photography.
Even though Hvar is pretty full, last minute accommodation IS available – two great places to start are Hvar Touristik and Visit Hvar.
