One of the best located bars in Hvar is Caffe Sidro. And the view is not bad either…
In 1977 a lady from Hvar opened her bedroom window and looked out at this view and decided that maybe it would be a good idea to open a bar on the ground floor of her family house.
The rest is history. Some 36 years later, Caffe Sidro is one of THE institutions in Hvar Town, famous for the best coffee in town by day and the best mojitos on the island by night.
Whether the town is teeming with yachts and tourists in peak season, or looking out over the occasional small fishing boat in winter, life at Sidro continues as normal – great service, an international mix and a friendly welcome.
And while the ground floor views may not be quite as spectacular at those on the higher floors of the house, Sidro is one of the premier hangouts in the town, popular with locals and tourists alike.
