Another quality Hvar restaurant. Kod None in Svirce!
A nice thing is happening on Hvar. The slow rebirth of the inland villages.
There are some great things being achieved by local associations Pjover in Velo Grablje, organisers of the Lavender Festival, and by Tartajun in Dol, organisers of the dormouse festival, the Puhijada.
But there is also a great story about the success of restaurants in these villages, which I wrote about recently for Villas Hvar.
In the time I have been on Hvar (12 years), the following inland restaurants have opened: Dvor Dubokovic in Pitve, Konoba Vrisnik in Vrisnik, Kod None in Svirce, Konoba Kokot in Dol and Bogo’s in Vrbanj. All are doing extremely well, and all are making a valuable contribution to village life.
None more so that Kod None in Svirce, which celebrated six years of operations in 2014. Always assured of a warm welcome and good fare, Kod None is an important addition to the village of wine, which is gaining increasing international attention, thanks to the quality produced by Ivo Caric and PZ Svirce.
Why not follow the Kod None summer on Facebook?
