Don’t miss this “Festival of good emotions”
What started as a small street fair festival back in 1999 has now turned into one of the “not to be missed” events in Croatia thanks to the dedicated visionary work of the organisers and the whole community.
Špancirfest is not only a fantastic cultural touristic brand of the ancient city of Varaždin and its region, it is also one of those feel good festivals where all art-forms are intertwined and brought to the streets for all visitors to enjoy free of charge.
From today until August 30th, the whole historic centre of Varaždin will become the home of street artists, performers, musicians, actors and craftsmen as well as tens of thousands of visitors creating “good emotions” from early morning till late at night.

Tomorrow, Friday 21st, get ready for Nouvelle Vague and Mando Diao, Saturday is reserved for regional stars Rundek Cargo Trio and Bajaga i Instruktori. If you’re an electro-swing fan, don’t miss Parov Stelar on stage on Sunday .

French sensation La Fanfare en Pétard will get your feet moving on Thursday August 27th with their unique blend of hip-hop, reggae and electro sound while on Sunday August 30th, Varaždin welcomes the new queen of Bosnian sevdah after her sold out concerts in Split, Šibenik and Dubrovnik – Amira Medunjanin.
