100 Million Kuna to Popularise Science

ZAGREB, August 5, 2018 – Labour and Pension System Minister Marko Pavić announced that more than 100 million kuna would be secured in autumn to popularise science so that science projects could have access to structural and financial assistance.

“We have numerous projects in Croatia aimed at making science more popular among young people… We want to secure systematic aid for those projects so that people who are working on popularising science can live off that as a career,” Pavić said.

He underscored that projects of that nature deserved full commendation as they allow young people around the globe to be involved in activities during summer holidays and to get an opportunity to familiarise themselves with science.

He added that the Labour Ministry and the Ministry of Science and Education have been working for months to promote science activities and make them more popular in Croatia.
