They will be joined by Zucchero and Croatian music legend Oliver Dragojević.
On Saturday, 2 July, 2CELLOS will perform in a concert at the Tomislav Square in Zagreb celebrating their fifth birthday. They will be joined by two very popular guests, Zucchero and Oliver Dragojević, reports Večernji List on June 27, 2016.
Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser admit that it was not easy to choose guests for this special, celebratory concert that will be a present for their fans, and also for many tourists who will be staying in Zagreb. Of all the musical guests with whom Luka and Stjepan collaborated during the past five years, they consider the Croatian music legend Oliver Dragojević to be the most important one. He and Stjepan Hauser even released a special album and they held a series of concerts together.
In addition to Oliver, Stjepan Hauser and Luka Šulić will be joined on stage by the great Italian star Zucchero, with whom they recorded the song “Il Libro Dell’ Amore (The Book of Love)”, published on the “IN2ITION” album from 2012.
The admission to the concert is free. 2CELLOS will begin playing at 9.30 pm, first with some classical pieces, followed by a show that will be accompanied by an impressive production. Similar show has already been seen by 12,000 fans who listened to 2CELLOS recently in Verona, and on Saturday the citizens of Zagreb will be able to enjoy the show as well.
The concert at Tomislav Square will also be the last appearance of 2CELLOS as part of their current world tour. The organizers of the concert are 2CELLOS, the City of Zagreb and the Zagreb Philharmonic, and it will be held as part of the new open-air festival Zagreb Classic.
