As Večernji writes, Croatia once again confirmed that football is the most important secondary thing in life. It is not unusual that something related to football was the most searched, specifically the match of the 3rd round of qualification for the Champions League Dinamo – AEK, says Google. In addition, this year, the national team matches were widely followed, both in the League of Nations and in the qualifiers for Euro 2024. Of the ten most searched terms on Google, five were related to football.
The month of July was marked by the films “Oppenheimer” and “Barbie”, which took the world by storm and achieved unprecedented viewership. In Croatia, however, the term “Oppenheimer” was searched more often and thus took the second place among the most googled in Croatia. The third place went to the singer Aleksandra Prijović, who spectacularly sold out no less than 5 concerts in the Zagreb Arena.
The most searched series was “Južni vetar: Na granici”, while the Croatian version of “Married at First Sight” took first place in the category of reality shows.
A hot topic this year when it comes to technology, games and mobile devices was artificial intelligence, on which opinions are still divided. Some fear what it might bring, while others excitedly await the direction in which it will develop. The most searched term in this category was ChatGPT.
