It seems like it’s going to be a great fall for the Croatian diaspora in Canada this fall with some great Croatian artists visiting in September. If you are in the neighbourhood, be sure to save the dates!
One of Croatia’s most renowned singer / songwriters, Gibonni, will be playing a one night only concert in Anapilis Hall in Mississauga on September 18th. As we were informed by the organiser, Crown Entertainment, entire ground floor is already sold out so you better hurry. And since we know Gibonni’s concerts usually end with a proposal or two, we hope a few proposal speeches are being rehearsd in front of the mirror.
Fresh off the success of her latest video “Croatian pride” celebrating the 300th Sinjska Alka, Cellist Ana Rucner will be performing her World Classics and Croatian Beauties at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga on September 27th. Ana will be accompanied by the University of Toronto’s string quartet.
