ZAGREB, September 17, 2018 – Croatian biologist Miroslav Radman, founder of the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences (MEDILS) in Split, has been elected to the United States’ National Academy of Sciences.
In a statement to Hina, the 74-year-old Radman said that he was elected in April this year.
The ceremony at which he will be formally admitted to the National Academy of Sciences will take place in Washington in April 2019.
Radman is an associate member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (HAZU), considering that he also holds French citizenship.
He is also a member of the French Academy of Sciences and several other academies.
