The Outlook (Thursday 1st September to Monday 5th September) and Dimensions (Thursday 25th August to Monday 29th August) festivals are already well established and known in Europe’s electronic music scene. Outlook, the largest of the festivals returns for the ninth time in 2016, while the growing Dimensions Festival celebrates its fifth instalment this summer. Both festivals also hold opening concerts at the Roman amphitheatre in Pula, the biggest city of Croatia’s largest peninsula Istria. This year’s highlight is the Massive Attack Dimensions Festival opening concert set for August 24. The line-up of the festival at the Fort Punta Christo on the following days includes the likes of Moodyman, Ben Klock, Hiatus Kaiyote, Marcel Dettmann and many more. Damian Marley is set to headline the Outlook Festival opening concert on August 31.
The 14th Seasplash Festival (July 21-24) is heading our way and is dedicated to the sound system culture. During the festival, the dominant majority of regional sound systems, present and active on the scene, will be introduced, as well as a few guests from abroad.
Slurp! is the youngest member of the Fort Punta Christo festival family and consists of a series of four clubbing events which will take place from June-September.
Beside the stages in and around the Punta Christo, there are also stages and parties taking place at the festivals campsite beach in front of the Fort and on party boats. We’ll bring ticket and other details on each of the festivals soon.
