April 4, 2018 – It is a tourism island famous for many things, and weddings are a growing trend. Here’s why you should get married in Paradise on Hvar.
It is known as Croatia’s premier island of sun, beaches, culture and nightlife, an island which this year celebrates 150 years of organised tourism in Europe, just one of the firsts Hvar offers – the oldest public theatre in Europe, built in 1612, is another.
And over the last few years, as more and more tourists have fallen in love with the island, they have also – it seems – fallen in love with each other, for weddings on Hvar are booming.
And why not? Such an idylllic destination, the perfect spot for friends and family to enjoy a holiday (and you a honeymoon) after the happy day – the Hvar wedding industry has really taken off in the last few years.
