Total Croatia News

For the first time in festival’s history, INmusic Festival tickets have been sold out.

Fantastic line-up, various recognitions by national and international media, affordable tickets, and a beautiful location at Zagreb’s Jarun Lake are the factors which contributed to this historic event – the tickets have been sold out one week before the festival, muzickazona.ba reports.

The organisers are very pleased with the popularity of the festival and they have stated that this has motivated them to make the next edition even more special.

The seven-day festival camp will also be sold out soon. More than 95% of camp visitors is made up of foreigners from over 60 countries and 12-15,000 overnight stays are expected there during the festival. In addition, 75% of Zagreb’s accommodation facilities has already been booked, meaning that a total of 87,000 overnight stays is expected during the festival. If an average tourist spends €100 per day, it should generate an 8.7 million euro profit for the City’s budget. It goes to show that INmusic festival is one of the most important cultural and touristic events in Croatia and that the festival achieves positive figures during preseason in the continental part of the country, which is one of the main strategic goals of Croatian tourism.

Ožujsko beer and the City of Zagreb are ensuring free public transportation for festival visitors of INmusic #12 in the City of Zagreb. Festival visitors need to present their festival ticket or festival wristband upon request to the public transportation staff and their rides in ZET buses and trams around Zagreb is free of charge.

Croatian railways will approve a 40% discount to all passengers traveling to INmusic festival from Croatia or Slovenia. The discount is valid for first and second class tickets and for distances over 25 kilometers from June 16 to June 23.
During the festival days (from June 19 to June 21), there will be two bus lines transporting visitors from both entrances to lake Jarun (Hrgovići and Hrvatskog sokola) to the INmusic festival entrance. The festival buses are free of charge.

When it comes to other INmusic-related news, in accordance with European festival standards and for security reasons the “one entrance – one exit per festival day” rule has been implemented for INmusic festival’s twelfth edition.

Once visitors exit the festival site, they cannot return to the festival site until the next festival day starts (4:30 pm on the next day). This rule applies to the main festival entrance and does not apply to the campsite entrance and camping wristbands holders.
