Famous American songwriter Laura Pergolizzi, best known as LP, came to Croatia for the first time, on July 25, 2018 to fill St. Michael’s Fortress with her mighty voice. Over a thousand spectators enjoyed a unique performance on a unique stage. A grand concert attracted the attention of tourists from different countries to ancient Sibenik. There is no need to talk about the extraordinary popularity of the young singer – her most famous song was sung by the whole hall in chorus.
Hit songs «Lost On You», «Other People» and «Muddy Waters» have made LP recognizable worldwide, and left an untraceable mark on the contemporary music scene. Although LP’s lyrics are filled with quirks, she believes the music doesn’t have to be complicated. Her songs are made by expressive vocal, whistling – her signature element – and dreamy ukulele sounds, the combination that made her songs recognizable.
The singer arrived in Croatia as part of her European summer tour, during which she already visited Russia, Italy, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Serbia, Spain, and fans in Germany, Switzerland and other countries are waiting for her.
