Hvar’s riva is currently being extended at the far end of the waterfront, and once finished, it will offer more mooring options for boats and, no doubt, extended dining options for the nearby restaurants.
Until then, the race was on to see who could be the first to dine on the new part of the riva, and that race has been won by a couple on honeymoon, who enjoyed a fine fish meal at Gariful, according to the videos below placed on the restaurants Facebook page (see below).
An interesting challenge for the waiters no doubt, and an inspired choice of location.
