Their light version of the Noel restaurant kitchen can also be enjoyed here
The now famous fine dining restaurant Noel in Zagreb’s Dukljaninova Street, close to the Fine Artists Residence, has relocated their bar ahead of the hot summer months in the nearby space of Blok Bar, at Tomašićeva 13.
This bar with many awards, created by Krešimir Rogina and Vinko Penezić, is not only an unusual architectural stride and authentically urban, it is built into the fabric of the area, breathing a pleasant atmosphere which made it over time more than just a local hangout.
With the expansion to Blok Bar, Noel proves a synergy of successful projects is quite possible, and the existing form and prices of Bok Bar remain unchanged. The Noel team, led by Ivan Jug and Goran Kočiš, used their knowledge and experience to upgrade the previous concept, perfecting all details and expanding the offer. Now guests in the Noel Bar can choose from a quality wine list with excellent value for money. Sommelier Ivan Jug created the list in his own taste, but also conforming to the situation.
Their light version of the Noel restaurant kitchen can also be enjoyed here, with meals made in the famous kitchen of Noel, but also just simple croissants and fine coffee. “We pay special attention to coffee, also proud of our selection of P&T fine teas. Unfortunately, the offer of teas in Zagreb bars comes down to generic brands of mass production and low quality standard. Besides the teas being our passion, we have recognised the need for guests to enjoy quality tea and we serve them with pleasure and explain their characteristics. The offer of cocktails was enriched with the mixology knowledge of our bartender Karlo Ferenčak, which the guests soon acknowledged, and in several weeks the Noel Bar gained a faithful audience which comes by almost daily of their favourite cocktails. The bar is also open on Sundays!”
