It took three and a half years to build this 60,000 square foot, luxuriously-equipped hotel of an enviable category, and it has a touch of Croatia…

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 28th of August, 2018, the 3LHD Hotel LN Garden has now officially been opened in China, with a little help from one Croatian artist.

The hotel area of 61068m2, with a massive total of 365 rooms is part of the Nansha Seaside Park located at the very mouth of the Pearl River in China’s popular Guangzhou City. Its volume and its large surface are visually horizontal with façade lines embedded in the picturesque nature which surrounds it. The brand new hotel will be categorised as “platinum-five star”, according to Chinese categorisation rules, such hotels have a significantly higher standard than the already high-end yet typical five-star hotel ranking.

To build this incredible luxury hotel which covers over 60,000 square feet, three and a half years of hard work and time were employed. The first query arrived at 3LHD’s mail address back in December 2013. After initial meetings and lengthy communication over the Internet, the very first visit to the site and the beginning of the project work eventually began. The hotel is located at the mouth of China’s beautiful Pearl River, in the centre of the world’s largest agglomeration, which includes megalopolis with over 60 million inhabitants.

The main public area of the hotel in the west boasts a stunning view of the bay and looks to Seaside Park from the east. It is dominated by two vertical lobbies and a large water surface. The project was realised with the talented Croatian artist Ivan Franko, who is the creator of two eye-popping art installations set up in the hotel’s main lobby.

The hotel’s investor is the Lingnan Group, a large company whose primary activities lie within the hotel industry, as well as in tourism. The company owns more than sixty hotels and hotel chains all over China. Their business interests include the food industry, logistics, retail chains, and transportation services.
