Crowds gather and start looking for Pokemon.
Starting yesterday, Pokemon GO is officially available in Croatia. To participate you need to turn on geo-location on your smartphone and a map will be displayed for you that looks very much like the neighbourhood around you. When you spot a Pokemon, the game switches to the virtual reality – on your screen you will see the actual location where you are standing at that moment (thanks to the camera on the phone), and a Pokemon that could be located in the bushes, in a fountain and even inside a church, reports hcl.hr on July 17, 2016.
When you get closer to a Pokemon, a circle will appear around it and you will throw your virtual Pokemon ball. The ball will appear on the screen and you have to keep clicking it with your finger until you catch the Pokemon and place it inside the ball. The goal is to catch as many Pokemon as possible.
Croatian companies have also joined the craze. In Zagreb, many Pokemon have gathered in front of the Konzum supermarket in Radnička Street, and many local Pokemon GO players have rushed to this area where the first Pokemon point was established.
The news that Pokemon can be spotted in front of a Konzum spread at the lightning speed, and the Pokemon loving crowds rushed there to catch as many of them as possible. Those who have not come to Radnička Street yesterday will surely be happy to hear that they will soon have the opportunity to catch their favourite Pokemon in other Konzum stores across Croatia, Konzum said in a statement, always looking for a marketing opportunity.
In addition to Croatia, the game has now became available in 25 other European countries, so people all over the continent can devote their precious time to playing this virtual game, which for some of us will never make sense.
And, keep in mind the warning about Pokemon which was recently sent by the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service.
