Sweetest event in Croatia, 10th Chocolate festival is coming back to Opatija next weekend, December 4-6, 2015 to be more exact.

Chocolate festival will present the very best Croatian and international chocolate producers ranging from global brands to specialised hand made limited edition sweets. Even though the expo and sales part of the event will be held in the Crystal ballroom (Kristalna dvorana) of the Kvarner hotel, workshops, tastings, concerts and exhibitions about chocolate and the finer things in life will be held across Opatija in its hotels, restaurants, exhibition pavilions as well as museums and schools.

All pastry chefs from Opatija will work together to create the empire cake and one of the most anticipated parts of the event is the “Opatija paradox”, unique event where experts will pair various types of chocolate with quality wines from the region.
