Richard Hammond Issues Video Statement After Crashing Concept One in Switzerland

Richard Hammond, former Top Gear presenter and current member of the Grand Tour team, who crashed Concept One, an electric supercar designed by Croatian entrepreneur Mate Rimac, in Switzerland yesterday, has issued a video statement live from his hospital bed earlier today, stating that he was alive and well.

The Brit, who seems to have nine lives, thanked the hospital staff in Switzerland for their swift reaction and apologised to his wife and daughters for crashing yet another car.

Hammond is currently in St. Gallen Hospital in Switzerland, where he should be getting knee surgery later today, and he seems to be in good spirits.
