It doesn’t take much for people of Split to have a good time, and during this year’s edition of Advent in Split, there’s been plenty of reason to sing, dance and rejoice. On December 1, 2015, from noon, Split organised fake Noon Year’s Party on pjaca with 70s and 80s music, fritule and of course mulled wine, and the entire square was packed since the early morning hours.
If there was a friend or acquaintance you haven’t seen during 2015, there was a good chance you ran into him or her on Pjaca because it was a melting pot of all generations, all coming together to commemorate the year behind us and raise a glass to the year ahead before they head to their own New Year’s Eve parties across town or across the country.
HIghlight of the day was definitely a mini snow storm under the bright and clear December sky produced of course by several snow guns placed all over Pjaca. It was a perfect photo opportunity and the very best way to end the year.
