Subway in Croatia is something that people will either love or hate, and while many tourists who visit this country love the idea of authentic Croatian food, many of us living here often just want to grab something quick on the way home from a long and tiring day at work. If anything, the opponents of the likes of McDonald’s and KFC will be pleased, as Subway in Croatia opens yet another Zagreb restaurant with a brand new design.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 27th of November, 2019, the wildly popular American franchise Subway, which primarily sells sandwiches and various types of salads, is opening its second restaurant in Zagreb, in the very heart of the Croatian capital city: below the most famous skyscraper in the city – the Ilica skyscraper right on Ban Jelačić Square.
With this new Zagreb restaurant, Subway in Croatia is bringing forward its Fresh Forward Restaurant Design, for which it is known and which will provide guests with many new choices – from how to order and get the food, to full enjoyment of your meal. With its proven business model, the Subway franchise is an excellent business opportunity for franchisee entrepreneurs as well.
“With the new restaurant design, we wanted to encourage guests to spend more time here in the restaurant. The restaurant is fresh, which goes hand in hand with our products – freshly prepared sandwiches, salads and wraps. We wanted to make the design emphasise the restaurant’s offering. We’re proud that our new restaurant and all of our products fit perfectly with the preferences of our guests,” says Vladimir Hanula, Subway’s franchise partner in Croatia.
The Subway franchise system offers many options because it is based on a system that has existed for almost 55 years now.
These tried and tested procedures make it easy for franchisees to carefully follow and take every step in running the restaurant. The system is simple and easy to operate, it offers flexible location selection options and is not technically complicated, meaning it can be implemented with truly moderate investments.
”Our first Fresh Forward restaurant is an example of how we want to develop further here on the Croatian market and all of our new restaurants will be opened in this design. We can see great potential in Zagreb, as well as in other Croatian cities – Split, Rijeka, Osijek, Šibenik, Zadar, as well as along the highways,” said Martin Prince, Country Director for Central and Eastern Europe.
In Zagreb, Subway already has one restaurant in the Arena Center, and with the opening of this brand new restaurant in the city centre, it wants to get even closer to its guests.
