Tesla Village is coming to Slavonia.
True Tesla Technologies (TTT) and decentralised digital currency Tesla Coin (TES) entered into a Memorandum Of Understanding today. The MOU sets out a long-term cooperation plan and a mechanism to share ideas and know how. In addition, there are joint strategies that will assist innovators of revolutionary energy technologies on their path to commercialisation.
True Tesla Technologies currently manages the intellectual property rights (IPR) of Tomislav Tesla, through several licensing agreements. The IPR includes Cascading Hydro Power Plant, Railway Coupling, Dam/Reservoir Silt Extraction and other local patents.
TTT is a privately owned company, with its main activities in Osijek, Croatia. Part of the business plan is to create the Tesla Sustainable Village and Innovation Centre, which will effectively become a showcase for their vision. Plans to convert a disused former chimney works are on the drawing board and is expected to complete the acquisition during 2018.
Tomislav Tesla, the great-great nephew of Nikola Tesla and co-founder of True Tesla Technologies, welcomed the agreement and looks forward to it being a beacon of light for like- minded people, stating: ”The current sad financial situation in the world opts to fund selected individuals carefully, to receive conditional financial support. This is great news for innovators who will now be able to successfully implement their inventions for the benefit of humanity by using the Teslastarter platform,”
Tesla also pointed out an important step innovators will take to realise their creative ideas. ”A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step”.
Whilst the potential for the technology is global, the company intends to create its heart in Osijek, Croatia.
”Our plans for Croatia, particularly in Slavonia, include the construction of our Cascading Hydro Power Plant”, Deane Thomas, co-founder of True Tesla Technologies said, ”We’re currently exploring several local sites for this installation, which we hope can be up and running before the end of summer.”
Deane praised the efforts of Tesla Coin and went on to say ”our agreement is a step forward and allows us to establish ourselves in the international arena and raise awareness of the work we’re doing in Croatia.”
Tesla Coin (TES) was birthed in January 2014 by a group of developers with a lot in common with Nikola Tesla. TES was created to ensure that genuine innovators have the opportunity to access a dedicated crowdfunding platform, Teslastarter. Crowdfunding on the TES platform will be relatively straightforward, and much like others in the marketplace, but with an advantage.
TES distinct commercial advantage is that investors make their crowdfunding investment using TES Digital Currency purchased via an exchange. As innovators list their ideas and plans, holders of TES have a privileged view of witnessing their investment working. Innovators who successfully manage to develop their ideas have the opportunity to fully commercialise their technology during phase II and III of the Teslastarter platform.
Matt Reynolds, Development Executive at Tesla Coin stated: ”We recognise that inventors struggle to raise funding or even get their ideas off the bench, that is why we came up with the Teslastarter concept back in 2014.We’re very pleased to be moving forward with the guys from True Tesla Technologies, and fulfilling our own roadmap! Today’s agreement demonstrates that we can network together and take a step forward towards a sustainable future.”
Teslastarter aims to facilitate the process of invention and innovation in the energy sector, benefitting both people and the planet. Current fossil fuel energy creation methods are outdated. TES works to support the production of limitless clean energy.
Tesla Coin is in a unique position and will continue to develop its platform and philosophy in-line with the white paper published in March 2018.
This great news was also an opportunity for TCN’s Mario Jukic to have an exclusive interview with Deane Thomas, co-founder of True Tesla Technologies Limited.
When did you get the inspiration to set-up the company?
The company was set up on 7th February 2014 for no apparent reason, whilst I was living and working in Budapest. I met Tomislav Tesla, after I attended my step-sons’ end of school year event in June 2014. It was then I realised I had already established a company with which I could assist Tesla on his endeavours. It was in early 2017, when we formed the commercial agreements with Tesla, and formed the principal founders group.
Where do you intend to build Tesla village? What are the major goals you intend to achieve?
TSV will be built on land we have agreed to purchase on the outskirts of Osijek. The site is a former brick works set on two hectares of land. We intend to develop the existing buildings, and to create a showcase of our goals. There are plans to complete the existing restaurant, outbuildings and such so that we can offer a community environment. In addition we intend to rebuild the brickworks and transform it into an innovation centre. Here we will work with talented individuals from around the region and world, to develop technologies that provide solutions for humanity. The plans for the future are all highlighted on our website.
Does TTT bring a new perspective for a better future?
Our focus is ensuring our technologies are available to everyone who wishes to implement them. We are always focused on how our technologies can best serve all of humanity. Our agreements always emphasis this aspect, and is why we will always share the know-how and wisdom with others. Tesla technologies include Hydro Power, Sustainable Fisheries, Railway Safety Coupling as well as others we are currently developing.
How is that idea recognised and valued worldwide?
This is the beginning of a new wave of ”Tesla” energy and activities; of course we shall always be met with resistance due to decades of capitalist mentality. Our approach is different, and it is quite simple. If you would like to use our technology, simply let us know and we will provide a license of technology!
Are you in contact with potential investors?
One of the major issues faced by ”revolutionary” or ”radical” technologies is seeking suitable investors. Whilst the regional and EU claim to offer funding for such projects, and technology, the answer is somewhat always different. We have approached our fund raising activities in a different light, and will be announcing further news on our chosen option in the near future. We’re in discussions with potential investors, as well as directly with the Governments of New Zealand, Russia, and United Kingdom. These countries are focused more so than others, on Hydro Power at the moment. We shall be pursuing opportunities in Africa and Asia, over the coming weeks.
