The well-known pastry shop has a new outlet.
In the trendy Zagreb neighbourhood of Vrbani, on a large terrace of the Point shopping centre, a new interior, concept and visual rebranding of Torterie Macaron pastry shop was presented on Tuesday. The inspiration was the traditional French pastry shop, patisserie, combining traditional elements of a pastry shop with pastel-coloured interiors.
The new Torterie Macaron outlet has brought liveliness to the second floor of the shopping centre and to the entire neighbourhood. A large terrace full of greenery dominates the area, creating an environment for guests worthy of posts on Instagram by all the trendsetters and those who feel like ones. “The flowers were selected according to the colours of the macarons, so the “leitmotif” of the area is the joy that engulfs you when you enter and feel the kaleidoscope of flavours and scents,” explains the Arhitektri Studio, which has decorated other outlets as well.
The news was greeted with enthusiasm by all the pastry fans because in just a few years Torterie Macaron pastry shops have created a recognizable brand that guarantees the quality of desserts and the delight for your palate. Many well-known guests attended the opening in order to see for themselves the latest changes, as well as to check firsthand the tastefulness of handmade macarons and the premium pistachio ice cream.
“I am always looking for new interesting venues and pastries, so I am happy that we have something like this in Zagreb,” said blogger Sonja Kovač. Mateja Domitrović Sabo, a journalist and a member of the jury at the RTL culinary show “Three, Two, One – Cook!” was also there, just like actress Helena Minić Matanić, who has now discovered the new favourite location to enjoy cakes with her family.
Actress Ana Begić Tahiri found herself in the role of a host. She handled the sweet job well and introduced the bloggers who participated in a food-styling workshop on stylisation of cakes – Leda Bosnić, Matea Halilović and Darko Kontin, who offered several ideas how to turn an “ordinary” tasty cake into a lovely small sweet creation which you first want to post on Instagram, and only then enjoy it.
Leda Bosnić, the author of the Ledaboss blog, adores colourful sweets which she regularly posts on her accounts. Darko Kontin, the author of the Darkova Web Kuharica blog, is a great fan of cooking and he continually tries out new dishes with a modern twist. He loves the cheesecake and all the light creamy desserts, just like blogger Matea Halilović (the author of the Little Things by Matea blog), who loves macarons and ice cream. “There is almost nothing which can be compared with the Torterie Macaron pistachio ice cream,” says Matea.
In addition to various sweets, all the guests could enjoy the sparkling summery refreshment made by the Istenič winery. For the first time, Torterie Macaron offered sparkling wines from the Istenič cellars – Desiree and Barbara, whose fruity aromas perfectly complemented the desserts.
