A look at the most popular museum in Croatia, as chosen by travellers.
Trip Advisor, which is arguably the best and most used web service for tourists and lovers of travel, released a list of the top ten best museums in Croatia on May 1, 2016.
In first place comes Dubrovnik’s very own ”War Photo Limited” which has said to have completely altered peoples perceptions of the City of Dubrovnik.
War Photo Limited, which has no political agenda and claims its wish is to educate the public in the field of war photography, is an exhibition centre of war and conflict photojournalism situated inside Dubrovnik’s historic Old City.
The impressive space, spread over two floors the 350m2 (3800 sq ft) displays photographic exhibitions by credited and world renowned photojournalists covering recent and ongoing regional and global conflicts.
War Photo Limited sits at the top of the list of various well known and interesting Croatian museums, including Zagreb’s amusing Museum of Broken Relationships, the Croatian Museum of Naive Art, the Gallery of Ivan Mestrovic, and the House of Vlaho Bukovac.
