Adrenaline Park in Cerna opens on 22 June.
The Adrenaline Park in Cerna will certainly make this municipality in eastern Croatia, situated between Županja and Vinkovci, a recognizable place on the tourist map of Croatia. With the opening of the park, first of its kind in the Slavonia region and covering an area of ten acres, the Rimac family will make its long-time dream come true, reports Glas Slavonije on June 9, 2016.
Mijo Rimac explains that the family has invested about one million kuna of its own money. Numerous and demanding activities related to the construction and organization of the park began several years ago. The Rimac family is now in the final stages of the project. They will offer visitors numerous entertainment possibilities – paintball in the natural environment, soccer pitches, and beach volleyball area will also soon be ready.
They are currently working on the stage for concerts. In the meantime, bungalows and tents will be placed among pine, birch and other trees. There is a fitness equipment available in the open area, as well as horseback riding lessons. Visitors will also have access to lodging houses for an overnight stay, a place for a wedding ceremony is available as well, and peacocks who walk freely through the park will add to the overall atmosphere.
The Adrenaline Park will be a closed-type park; interested groups of visitors can come only after they schedule a visit, thus ensuring quiet and private time.
“The construction work is nearing the end, all the equipment has arrived, we are putting all our efforts into finishing the project and opening the doors on 22 June to show our guests all the features the park offers. The park area is amazing, the nature is beautiful, and I believe the guests will enjoy it. We have decided to make something of great quality, something good and unique, and I hope that we have succeeded in that”, said Mijo Rimac.
His family started in the tourist industry by chance. They opened a zoo about 20 years ago. “We opened a zoo out of love for it, with great sacrifices of all family members who take care of the animals. The adrenaline park is an entirely different story, and this is the future”, he explained.
