World Bank Helps Emergency Medicine Services in Croatia

ZAGREB, May 31, 2018 – A delegation of the World Bank, led by Fadia Saadah, Director for Health, Nutrition and Population at the World Bank, held talks with the director of the Croatian Emergency Medicine Institute Maja Grba Bujević in Karlovac on Thursday about the effects of the World Bank loan and the future support to the development of the emergency medicine service.

World Bank director for Croatia and Slovenia Elisabetta Capannelli told the press after the meeting that the WB delegation arrived in Karlovac to see how previous government projects for emergency medicine, supported by the World Bank, were implemented, in order to be able to continue with new projects in the emergency medicine field.
