After New York, Sydney, San Francisco and Las Vegas, the retro-chic Veuve Clicquot Pop-Up Bar on wheels is in Zagreb.
The summer season has just started at the most beautiful spot in the city – hotel Esplanade’s Oleander terrace. Parked at the terrace is the attractive Veuve Clicquot Pop-Up Bar. The bar on wheels will remain there from 10 to 20 June, and it will be open for all the fans of the famous “yellow label” French champagne, who will have the opportunity to enjoy the selection of cold bubbles and delicious bites created by chef Ana Grgić, reports 24sata.hr June 10, 2016.
Inspired by the yellow colour and the design of the 1950s, the luxurious Veuve Clicquot trailer is a part of the global and exclusive Veuve Clicquot project that promotes socializing, art, design and culture of drinking champagne in combination with a creative food concept.
“The fusion of the history of this famous champagne house and of Hotel Esplanade, our common passion for quality, innovation in business, design and new creative ideas have all connected us and we have entered into a partnership that has continued this year as well. I am happy because of this, and I believe that in the next ten days the project will attract numerous food enthusiasts and lovers of this French champagne. They can enjoy tempting snacks and a nice atmosphere in the Zagreb city centre“, said Ivica Krizmanić, executive director of the hotel.
“We are very proud and happy that Zagreb has been chosen for the second time to host this global project”, said Jasna Mohor, director of marketing for Miva company, the champagne’s distributor in Croatia. “With its attractive trailer, Veuve Clicquot is touring the world capitals trying to combine its famous champagne with tasty specialty foods, and this is exactly what it is doing now in Zagreb. The parking spot has been provided by Esplanade on the Oleander terrace, while the cooperation of this legendary hotel with the top yellow label will result in a unique event that is open for everyone who wants to visit“, added Mohor.
