As Morski writes on the 23rd of July, 2019, registrations for the now traditional Zadar Millennium Jump have now begun, and an impressive 1,245 people have registered during the first four hours of registration having been opened alone. This means that on average, every five minutes, five people applied to participate in the popular Zadar dm millennium jump which will take place on Saturday, July the 27th in Zadar, starting at 14:00.
Everyone who wants to join in the millennium jump should hurry up and register because the place are limited to just 3,000 people, according to a report from the local portal eZadar.
The novelty for this year is the fact that this will be a shorter but more meaningful program. There will be four jumps, the gap between the jumps will be shorter, and the participants will then be relieved from the beating rays of the summer sunshine with 8,000 cold water bottles and delicious seafood rizotto at a symbolic price of just ten kuna. The revenue from the 15,000 sold meals goes directly to the needs of people with autism. Neno Stojaković, the first man of the project added:
”This year, we’re going to write another message – “Save this planet” which we think is the most important determinant of this event.
Thus with the humanitarian, health, tourist and entertainment aspects of the Zadar dm millennium jump, ecological issues will follow to highlight the need to care for our environment and our planet as a whole. There can never be too much of a warning about how important it is to protect yourself and especially your skin from extended periods of exposure to the harsh sunlight. In this respect, just like last year, dermatologists will look at the skin of all interested participants completely free of charge.
