October the 10th, 2023 – The 2023 Rijeka Boat Show, which opened on Thursday, has attracted approximately 100 exhibitors, as well as some Croatian premieres.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the 2023 Rijeka Boat Show opened on Thursday at Karolina Rijeka Quay in Rijeka, gathering almost a hundred exhibitors. Six vessels have had their Croatian premieres at this popular nautical fair in the heart of Kvarner.
This year, due to the great interest of exhibitors, the fair lasted for four days, and the exhibition space has been expanded. Vessels having their Croatian premieres this year have come from manufacturers in Norway, Italy and across the pond in the USA.
In addition to the presentation of attractive brands from the world of all things nautical, small vessels built here in Croatia and a very wide range of diverse nautical equipment has been on display.
A five time increase in five years
“After five years since we, as a new team, took over the organisation of the fair called Rijeka Boat Show, I have to express my satisfaction with the crowds who have come to attend it,” said the director of the Rijeka Boat Show, Ivan Črnjarić.
“There is talk about the opening of Rijeka to the sea, and with all the investments so far, and especially those that are being prepared, we can say that it has definitely already opened,” concluded Črnjarić.
ACI Board member Josip Ostrogović pointed out that the popular Rijeka Boat Show has increased the number of exhibitors present in the city five times in five years. It appears that the 2023 Rijeka Boat Show is only going to further that trend and up those numbers going forward.

The construction of the ACI Marina Rijeka will soon begin, which will definitely put Rijeka firmly on the nautical map of Europe. “This will be an additional incentive for the future of the Rijeka Boat Show, and we can expect further growth of the fair,” concluded Ostrogović.
