And Now Korcula: Fire Breaks Out Near Lumbarda

Dalmatia’s summer of wildfires continues on August 22, 2017, with the latest blaze spotted off Korcula.

It is becoming a very depressing and repetitive story this summer sadly, the outbreak of yet more fires in Dalmatia, which has not seen rain for months. 

The latest blaze was spotted and documented by Total Croatia Sailing editor Tash Percic, close to Lumbarda on Korcula. 

You can see the blaze in the video below. The sound of fire engines is everywhere. More info as we get it.
