After the administrative win over the Slovenian government and being placed on a trip to the Moon, Istrian Teran made another triumph. The London wine magazine Decanter rated Benvenuti’s Teran 2012 with 95 points, one of the highest international ratings for any Croatian red wine.
Last year 95 points went to the Veralda Istrian. In the newest, May issue, Decanter published an expansive article The New Old World, spending seven pages on the topic of wines from Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Georgia, Lebanon and Israel. Two wines from each country that are available in England were rated.
Benvenuti’s Teran received the highest rating of all presented wines.
Kabola’s Malvazija 2015 was rated with 89 points. The Benvenuti family is one of the four or five leading producers of Istrian Teran.
