French wine is excellent, but Slavonian wines do not lack in quality, as the news from Bordeaux proves. At La Cite du Vin over 3.000 bottles of various wines from Croatia and the world can be tasted. The city of wine could be visited this year by between 500 and 800 thousand tourists and the presence of wine from the Slavonian town of Feričanci is excellent marketing and a direction Feravino wants to take on the wine scene.
Tourists come to the town mainly as they want to taste good wines and gastronomy delicacies, with rising interest in Croatian wines whose quality has been growing in the past years.
In the beginning of last summer the wine association with the Croatian Chamber of Commerce arranged a cooperation with the town of La Cite du Vin in Bordeaux, while the Osilovac company and its Feravino winery presented their Graševina Dika 2015 and superior Franovka Miraz 2012.
“The unity and synergy of wine institutions of Croatia and France have opened for Feravino the doors of export to very demanding and refined world markets,” pointed out Jenette Šimić from the public relations of Osilovac company.
