February the 24th, 2024 – The love British tourists have for Croatia is nothing new, but seeing the country ranked excellently on a list by Bounce brings hope from Europe’s largest island for this summer tourist season.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, based on research carried out by the Bounce company, a list of the most desirable destinations across the world, at least for British travellers, has been compiled. This list unequivocally shows what kind of travel trends await us in 2024, writes B92, and Croatia has performed more than excellently.

A new study by Bounce, which has luggage storage facilities at over 8,000 locations in over 1,000 cities around the world, has shown which are the most popular destinations at the moment. Croatia is at the very top for British travellers, coming in at a very impressive fifth place.

Bounce analysed everything that was put into Google’s search engine over the last three months in order to find the most desirable destinations would-be travellers are looking at this year. To make the research more complete, they compared these destinations with previous years to predict the most popular countries that British tourists intend to visit in 2024.

Turkey is rather unsurprisingly in first place, the increasingly popular Iceland is in second place despite its current battles with natural disasters, and nearby Greece is in third place. Croatia ranked in an excellent fifth place, with over 54,000 searches for this country carried out on Google.

Looking at individual cities, the most popular of all is Amsterdam, and of the rising destinations, nearby Albania is the most current. It is interesting that Macedonia is also among the rising destinations, seeing it ranked in an enviable second place in this regard.
