Total Croatia News

ZAGREB, June 8, 2018 – The Agrokor Group on Friday released the latest value estimates of companies within the ailing food and retail conglomerate, and a total value of all companies in the group stands at two billion euro, with the most valuable company being the Jamnica water bottler, valued at almost 500 million euro.

When companies outside Croatia are taken into account, the total value available for creditors in the emergency administration procedure amounts to about 2.5 billion euro.

The total value of Agrokor’s 19 most valuable companies in Croatia amounts to about 1.7 billion euro, Agrokor said on its website.

Jamnica is the most valuable company, followed by the Ledo ice-cream and frozen foods producer with an estimated value of 280.9 million euro, followed by the Belje food producer (276.5 million euro).

The Konzum chain of stores is estimated to be worth 209.3 million euro after taking into account all lease payments (including finance leases).

The emergency administration notes however that these estimates are still not final.

The administration also notes that the Entity Priority Model of payments and write-offs too has not be finalised.

Creditors have lodged claims for 7.9 billion euro in receivables and the emergency administration has recognised 5.85 billion euro.
