Air Transat Increases Toronto – Zagreb Route for 2017

After a successful first season connecting Canada and Croatia, Air Transat is offering much more of the same, reports Avioradar on September 2, 2016.

Great news for the diaspora in Canada and the increasing number of tourists from Canada coming to Croatia – after a successful first season flying from Toronto to Zagreb direct, Air Transat has announced that it will be not only continuing its operation in 2017, but expanding it considerably. 

Flights in 2017 will commence earlier – on May 30 – and continue through until October 18. And, in order to cope with peak season demand, there will be a second flight each week from June 18 to September 4.

After the failed operation of Skygreece on the same route last year, this is encouraging news indeed, and hopefully the start of the opening of direct flights from North America to Croatia.
