The success was topped by business contacts and concrete interest
Eight Croatian inventions and new products were awarded at INPEX, the largest American expo, with a total of 12 medals, 8 gold, the prestigious “Humanitarian Award” and three special awards, HINA reports on June 10, 2016.
The Zagreb Innovators Union announced on Friday that a gold medal with significant export interest was given to Mirjana Brlečić from the Nature Heals company, for the NIKEL UV protection through plants and regenerative antioxidants, skin soothing and premature aging protection.
Slobodan Rajić of the Telecor Zagreb company was awarded the “Humanitarian Award” for the Antiterrorist lock for manhole covers, along with a gold medal.
Vjekoslav Majetić of DOK-ING received the British Innovation Fair recognition and gold medal for the lamella submersion electric plant, while Almir Karabegović of Adleja company received a gold medal and special award by the Taiwanese Innovator Association for a contraceptive spiral for dogs.
Gold medals by the INPEX fair were given to Tomislav Juratovac of PRO-HEPRO company for the helloquent innovation, Tomislav Brozin form CITUS for the C@N PersonRecog – Gender & Age Group Recognition Software innovation and Tomislav Marjanović from FOSCROT for GRYNCO – SAVE THE PLANET innovation.
Roman Lastrić from the Zagreb Antun Mihanović school won a gold medal and special ward by the Polish Academy of Science for the Elevator of the Future innovation.
The Innovators Union points out that this success is made bigger by a line of business contacts and concrete interest by several American and Asian companies. This year’s participation at INPEX was made possible by the Croatian Innovators Union and Zagreb Innovators Union, with the support of Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandić and Croatian Chamber of Commerce.
