Analysts Expect Increase in Industrial Output

Total Croatia News

ZAGREB, April 30, 2018 – Croatia’s industrial production is set to rise by 2.8% in March year-on-year, according to estimates made by three economic analysts polled by Hina.

Their estimates range between 1.2% and 4%, and the national statistical office (DZS) is due to give official results on Monday.

If the analysts’ forecasts are proven correct, this will mean that the country’s industrial production is on the rise y-o-y for the second month in a row after in February it increased by 3.3%.

Industrial production seems to be gaining momentum, after it shrank at the turn of 2017/18.

Croatia’s economy has been growing for 14 quarters in a row, however a rise of 2% in the Q4 2017 was the slowest since the Q2 2015.
