Start Path program brings together the best European startups
Croatian startups can apply for the 6th MasterCard Start Path Global until 21 March. The six-month virtual program is aimed at helping development and implementation of new technological solutions for interaction between consumers and companies, report tportal.hr and cropc.net on March 8, 2016.
Since 2014, Start Path has provided operational support, mentorship and investments to over 60 startups for the development of the new generation of commerce solutions.
“Startups actively experiment with new solutions that should change the status quo in many industries, including financial services, retail, and healthcare”, said Stephane Wyper, global manager of the MasterCard Start Path. “We can provide the key support through operational expertise and an access to an endless source of customers, channels, and partners. In only two years, Start Path Global has achieved impressive results in helping startups turn their innovations into sustainable business solutions.”
In Europe, the accelerator has been very successful and it is now intensifying its search for startups. This goes to show the innovation potential of this area. The program is already cooperating closely with initiatives such as Rainbird, dopay, Invoice Sharing and Universal Basket.
Applications can be submitted at the Mastercard Start Path Global website until March 21 at 6 pm. Start Path will confirm the application submission and might directly contact some applicants with questions related to the project details.
Twenty teams will get invitations to hold a project presentation during the Pitch Day event in Toronto to be held on 11 and 12 May. Eight of them will be selected for the program which starts in June, with the exact location to be announced later.
