As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 6th of March, 2018, the latest shipping of steel dams to save Venice from the impact of the tide will begin being shipped today from Brodosplit.
Brodosplit has supplied 63 dams of 27-30 times 20 meters, at a height of 4-5 meters and of a massive weight of approximately 300 tons, worth more than 75 million euro, which includes 20,000 tons of built-in steel.
Special features of Brodosplit’s expensive project include extremely comprehensive, detailed documentation, the 100% assured traceability of all of the involved materials, the right of the client to seek further quality assurance in an independent laboratory of his own choice, the one-stop testing of welded joints with NDT methods, a guaranteed colour hold period of ten years at Ri1 according to ISO 4628/3, as well as the obligation to deliver all of the finished products directly to the installation site.
