April the 7th, 2024 – The popular Croatian Aircash is introducing an innovative new way of making payments.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, this new and innovative payment system uses the iPhone to ensure that every transaction is secure and private. Instead of handing cards to another person, touching physical buttons or exchanging cash, users simply bring their iPhone or Apple Watch closer to the payment terminal and make a contactless payment,” the Croatian Aircash revealed.
They added that every purchase executed through Apple Pay is secured by authentication via Face ID, Touch ID, or the device’s own password, along with a unique dynamic security code that is used only once. They also noted that Apple Pay is accepted in a wide range of stores, including restaurants, coffee shops, retail stores, pharmacies, taxis and many other places.
“Apple Pay not only facilitates payments at points of sale, but also online and in apps, enabling users to make safe, fast and convenient online purchases. This comes to the fore in the practical sense especially when paying for food and grocery deliveries, online shopping, transportation and parking, and so on,” they pointed out from the Croatian Aircash.
They also stated that security and privacy are at the very heart of Apple Pay. “By using a credit or debit card with Apple Pay, the actual card numbers aren’t stored on the device or on Apple’s servers. Instead, a unique device account number is assigned, encrypted and securely stored in Secure Element, a certified industry-standard chip designed to securely store payment information on the device,” they explained.
Setting up Apple Pay is easy. In the Croatian Aircash application, users can simply select the bank card they want to use and add it to their Apple Wallet by clicking on the appropriate option. After that, they just need to follow the simple instructions listed in the Apple Wallet application itself.
By adding their bank card to their iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac, users can immediately start using Apple Pay on that device, continuing to enjoy all the rewards and benefits offered by the Aircash Mastercard.
