ZAGREB, May 3, 2018 – Croatian airports logged 229,139 passengers in February 2018, up 13.9% on the year, and 481,000 in the first two months of the year, up 14.7 % annually, the national statistical office said on Thursday.
Zagreb’s airport logged the highest number of passengers in February (29,109), up 28.5% annually, followed by Dubrovnik with 24,181 passengers, up 6.2%.
In February 2018, the highest number of passengers travelled to and from Germany, 61,313 passengers, up 17.7% annually, followed by France (12,512 passengers, up 18.9%). The turnover with the United Kingdom, on the other hand, dropped 27.2% (9,610 passengers).
The number of landings and takeoffs in February 2018 was 4,098, up 11.5% on the year.
The cargo turnover was 868 tonnes, 70.9% more than in February 2017.
