Croatian Companies Infobip & Belupo Make More New Moves

May the 20th, 2024 – The Croatian companies Infobip and Belupo have made yet more new moves, one involving a new Osijek office and the other involving a fitness programme.

As Mladen Miletic/Poslovni Dnevnik writes, new steps for the remarkable Infobip have been made in the form of the opening of a new office in Osijek with 27 employees. The company’s management has additionally emphasised the fact that they expect their business to continue to expand. Co-founder and technical director Izabel Jelenić said that these new Osijek premises are otherwise the sixth engineering office in Croatia.

They have also stated from Infobip that they believe that the entire wider Osijek area boasts a lot of high-quality engineering personnel who are able to work on world-class global communication projects. Jelenić noted that Infobip, which has been operating since back in 2006, now has dozens of offices located all around the world.

“We may not be visible in the foreground, but we have an infrastructure that allows us to be present all over the world, along with commercial relations with more than 800 operators,” added the head of Infobip, which achieved a total revenue of 1.55 billion euros back in 2022.

The head of the new Osijek office, Dražen Radanović, pointed out that the desire there is to “develop cooperation with the local community and faculties, because there are a large number of technically strong young people in this area”, while Osijek’s deputy mayor, Jasenka Crnković, called on Infobip to include the project of city-entrepreneurial scholarships.

The Croatian companies Infobip and Belupo have been busy it seems, as cooperation between Belupo and Podravka has been formed with the the Belupo B.Fit programme. This is a comprehensive solution for controlling and reducing excess body weight. This is a pressing issue across Croatia, and so the programme was launched on the Croatian market last week. In addition to their special nutrition programme, B.Fit presents a line of products that contain nutritionally balanced meal replacements.

Podravka and Belupo, both of which are Koprivnica-based companies, have duly recognised the serious public health problem of obesity. That is issue is currently being faced by almost two-thirds (65%) of the population of Croatia, and that percentage is growing. The entire support programme for reducing excess body weight was clinically proven in a study conducted by the Srebrnjak Children’s Hospital.

“Belupo is now focusing on its consumers and taking care of their health. The cooperation between Belupo and Podravka was created precisely with this mission in mind. It ended up resulting in the innovative B.Fit programme and products that will help people reduce their overall body weight in a totally safe and clinically proven way.

The B.Fit programme is otherwise a comprehensive programme that gives the best from everyone involved: Belupo with its expertise from the pharmaceutical industry, Podravka with its nutritionally balanced products and varied menus, and the Srebrnjak Children’s Hospital is to be credited for the clinical study and medical support for the subjects in the study,” Hrvoje Čeović, President of the Management Board of Belupo, concluded.
