July the 11th, 2023 – The Croatian Infobip company has always been generous and committed to its community, and last year it donated more than half a million euros.
As Josipa Ban/Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the leading domestic technology company, Infobip, invested an enormous 570 thousand euros to the communities in which it currently operates last year.
Charities, NGOs and Ukrainian refugees
The remarkable Croatian Infobip enterprise donated these huge sums of money to various NGOs and charitable initiatives, including those helping refugees from Ukraine, according to their third sustainability report for 2022 (ESG Report).
The local community and the environment are paramount
The report reveals that Infobip cares deeply about its employees, the community in which it operates and the environment as a whole. The company revealed that they have donated more than 150 laptops and other office equipment to various recipients, that they have planted a total of 800 trees so far, and that they actively encourage their employees to get involved in various socially responsible programmes. According to the report, the Croatian Infobip company also makes sure t takes care of the environment and watch its greenhouse gas emissions carefully.
They stated that by the end of 2023, solar panels with a power of 110 kW should be installed on their company’s campus in Zagreb. It’s worth noting that solar panels are already installed on their campus in the Istrian town of Vodnjan, from where the company originates.
Employee numbers went up in 2022
This company report also reveals other interesting information about business activities in 2022. It states that last year they increased the number of employees by 200, meaning that Infobip, which currently operates on six continents and has more than 75 offices located around the world, currently employs more than 3,700 people.
Last year, they received more than 82,000 job applications and employed as many as 1,093 new people, 700 more than were hired by them back in 2021. This data speaks of a large turnover of people at Infobip. Although many people do leave the company, the number of job applications they receive shows that many people continue to want to work there.

It was also recently announced that Infobip had opened Quantum in Vodnjan, a former silk factory that had been neglected for years, and which Infobip bought and remodelled. This space will be used for the organisation of workshops and training sessions. You can read more here.
