Croatian Pipeline Company Sees Higher Profits This Year

ZAGREB, July 29, 2018 – In the first half of 2018, the JANAF oil pipeline operator netted 145.4 million kuna in profit, up 1.2% on the year, according to its financial statement.

Revenues totalled 357.3 millionkuna , which was 3.9% more than planned but down 3.8% over H1 2017. Operating revenue, making up 98.6% of all revenues, was 352.4 million kuna, down 2.7% over H1 2017 but 3.1% more than planned.

Business with foreign clients brought in 234.6 million kuna, accounting for 68.4% of the core activity, while 108.2 million kuna was generated on the domestic market.

Expenditures totalled 179.9 million kuna, down 8.3% over H1 2017 and 18.5% less than planned.

Gross profit was 177.4 million kuna, 1.2% over H1 2017. Both gross and net profits were 44% higher than planned.

Investment in H1 2018 totalled 248.6 million kuna.
